"Samurai Champloo" aired on TV in 2004.

Directed by Shinichiro Watanabe, this film was a epoch-making work at the time, with its novel visuals and music that truly "champlooed" the elements of historical drama and hip-hop, captivating not only anime fans but also hip-hop freaks. Even now, it is highly evaluated not only in Japan but also overseas.

Nujabes

An artist selected for this work by Director Watanabe, who is also known for his deep knowledge of music.

The trackmaker rocked the scene with his lo-fi HipHop and later gained a legion of followers both at home and abroad.

fat jon

He has been active in Five Deez since the 2000s, and has released solo albums produced by Nujabes.

FORCE OF NATURE

A unit formed by KZA and DJ KENT, who have worked on remixes for many artists and have a presence as a top runner in the club scene both in Japan and overseas.

TSUTCHIE

As a SHAKKAZOMBIE track maker, he has been leading the scene since the dawn of Japanese HipHop.

Their tracks made for "Samurai Champloo" were released in 2004 as 4 CDs, "Departure", "masta", "impression" and "playlist", and recorded smash hits.

These four CDs were released on analog boards after 18 years. "Departure" and "masta" will be released on April 27th, and "impression" and "playlist" will be released on May 18th. Each title will be analog for the first time.
