For sale is a very rare, double album from Paul McCartney: a promotional set of ‘The McCartney Interview’ released in 1980. It was done in conjunction with an interview that Paul did for Musician Mag. printed in the Aug. ‘80 edition. These 2 white label promo albums have the interview: one unbanded and the other banded which would give DJ’s a chance to ‘ask a question’ sounding as if they were talking to Paul! This rare set comes complete with a letter on CBS Records stationary [plus a copy of it] AND the magazine itself that featured the Int’vw in it! Both LPs show only the faintest paper scuffs and if this was ever played, it doesn’t look like more than once. Jacket is exc. with only minor wear to corners. Says ‘Demonstration - Not for sale’ in top rt. cor. on back. Letter has a small piece missing at top. Very nice & quite rare McCartney collectible listed with no reserve!
