Original Dutch 2LP released in 1982 on CBS Records. Cat: CBS88579. Comes in a gatefold sleeve.  Comes with 14 page full colour booklet which is in Excellent condition.
Davis's second recording since ending his six-year retirement was one of his best of the 1980s. Unlike his bands from the 1970s, this particular unit leaves plenty of space and plays much more melodically. Guitarist Mike Stern lets loose some fury, but electric bassist Marcus Miller is not reluctant to walk now and then in a straight-ahead fashion, drummer Al Foster and percussionist Mino Cinelu are tasteful, and Bill Evans gets in a few good spots on soprano. As for Davis, he was gradually regaining his earlier form. This double LP is highlighted by "Back Seat Betty," a side-long investigation of "My Man's Gone Now" and two versions of Davis's childlike "Jean Pierre."

Tracks : Jean Pierre/ Back seat Betty/ Fast track/ Jean Pierre/ My man’s gone now/ Kix.   There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Records have some light scuff marks and very light scratches that cause some light crackles throughout and are in VG+ condition. Gloss gatefold cover has some ring wear, some tiny surface tears around edges, the start of a small seam split on top centre edge and a small surface tear on back and is in VG+ condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
