Clive Dunn – Grandad Requests 'Permission To Sing, Sir' (Children's Vocal Novelty Pop Soundtrack) LP (1970)
Decent British 1st release.
Condition VINYL: VG+. Wonderfully clean on visual inspection. No marks, scuffs or hairlines on either side. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is fantastic throughout. Run-ins have some crackling, clicks and static, which travels into part of first cues. Several clicks of interference to opening few seconds of track 1, side 1 – but nothing major. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. A very enjoyable listen overall.
OUTER SLEEVE/COVER: VG. Colours are clear and unfaded on superb laminated front sleeve with paper back. Edges and spine in great shape. Corners very lightly scuffed. Aperture nicked and dogeared. Some creases in from sides and buckling to bottom right corner, and a few curved creases across front. Mild disc outline. No stains, marks or rips on front but some light marks – mainly to left and around disc ring – on back.
INNER SLEEVE: EX. Original MfP EMI white paper sleeve. Some very minor creasing and crinkling near aperture but intact overall.
