Academic Associates Records # AA 901 - Lectures In New York City: Discovering The Unknown Self by Dr. Nathaniel Branden - Original 1971 Spoken Word 2 x LP Set Private Issue Pressing.
From Wikipedia:
"Nathaniel Branden (born Nathan Blumenthal; April 9, 1930 – December 3, 2014) was a Canadian–American psychotherapist & writer known for his work in the psychology of self-esteem. A former associate & romantic partner of Ayn Rand, Branden also played a prominent role in the 1960s in promoting Rand's philosophy, Objectivism. Rand & Branden split acrimoniously in 1968, after which Branden focused on developing his own psychological theories & modes of therapy."
From the LP notes:
"Academic Associates (Los Angeles), founded in 1969, is an educational organization of Objectivist-libertarian persuasion which offers books and lecture-recordings on psychology, philosophy, politics and related fields. Semi-annually, AA publishes Book News, which provides book reviews and descriptions of current offerings."
Vinyl visually grades VG+ to VG++ w/ some very light scuffs & scratches - both sides play VG++ on my lo-fi system but I can't guarantee how it will sound on your system, to your ears. Labels are nice w/ very light spindle marks. The Gatefold Cover shows moderate overall wear w/ lots of edge chipping/surface loss, splits starting on the top seams & corner creasing (see pics).
