Tommy Steele – Half A Sixpence (Original Sound Track Recording) Film Soundtrack LP (1967)
Superb UK mono gatefold release.
This British musical film (1967, dir. George Sidney), based on the H.G. Wells novel 'Kipps', starred Tommy Steele, Julia Foster and Cyril Ritchard.
Condition VINYL: EX. Superbly clean on visual inspection. No sign of any marks, scuffs or hairlines on side 2. Side 1 has a few very faint marks. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is fantastic throughout. Run-ins are clear and all cues sound superb. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. A very enjoyable listen to this great vinyl release. OUTER SLEEVE/COVER: VG+. Superb laminated gatefold sleeve with no obvious major defects. Edges and corners have light scuffing/crinkling but spine in great shape. Front has a few creases but no dents. Inner gate has just a few faint foxing stains on left and yellowing round edges; otherwise clean and unmarked. Small rip to aperture at top right and a few light nicks. Overall a nice example. INNER SLEEVE: VG. Original white poly-lined paper sleeve with centre hole. Some heavy creases, crinkling, corner folds and buckling but clean and intact. Slight yellowing. Blue printed text one side.
