BBC Radiophonic Workshop - BBC Radiophonic Workshop - 21 (TV Soundtrack Effects LP) (1979)
Hard-to-find UK-only compilation album.
Featuring the best work from the British TV studio's electronica group.
Contains work by many major composers from TV including Desmond Briscoe, Delia Derbyshire, Dick Mills, Roger Limb and Paddy Kingsland.
Condition VINYL: VG+. Very clean on visual inspection. Just some short faint hairlines on side 1; and fewer on side 2 – but nothing major, and no deep scratches. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is very good throughout. Run-ins have little to no static (side 2 has more). Very light static between and during quieter cues/fadeins/fadeouts but instrumentals and FX sound great. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. An enjoyable listen.  OUTER SLEEVE/COVER: G+. Colours are clear and unfaded on superb gloss sleeve. Scuffs to lower edges by corners. Less wear to top edge corners. Disc outline, a few dents and short creases in from spine on front and back. Aperture in decent shape. Spine intact but has mild damage near top. Edges have minor scuffs towards corners. Back has large dried stain in bottom right corner. Intact.  INNER SLEEVE: VG. Original white paper sleeve with centre hole. Some minor creases and corner nicks but clean and intact. A few black marks on one side and black handwriting in one corner.
