You may not know this, but Alexander Courage, the composer of the original Star Trek theme, was in fact an accomplished jazz musician. Here is one of his awesome soundtracks, for a 1957 hot rod movie. Lots of slinky crime jazz on the menu here, with a side of juvenile delinquency and teen trouble. This is a really nice copy of this hard to find title--the original release is very pricey, and this Spanish reissue from 1985 is the ONLY reissue to date of a really terrific soundtrack. Vinyl sounds excellent--play tested.
