Full-length LP from Donald Byrd titled "Street Lady" released by Blue Note (BN-LA140-F) in 1973. Original U.S. pressing. Jazz trumpeter created this album as a tribute to a hooker that plays like a blaxploitation soundtrack full of loose, funky grooves and soulful, R&B-flavored tunes that are a bit removed from what jazz listeners might expect from Mr. Byrd. Vinyl record comes house in a topload gatefold cardboard cover.
