“Dois na Bossa nº 2” is the third live album by Brazilian singer Elis Regina and the second by Jair Rodrigues, released in 1966 by Philips Records.
The recording of the album was taken at a show held in the city of São Paulo, at Teatro Record in 1966, directed by Adylson Godoy and produced by Mário Duarte.
In total, the album contains 10 tracks by renowned Brazilian music artists, sung by Elis Regina and Jair Rodrigues.
Highlights include the tracks “Canto de Ossanha” by Baden Powell and Vinicius de Moraes, “Louvação” by Gilberto Gil and Torquato Neto and “Tristeza que Se Foi” by Adylson Godoy.
An excellent Samba and Bossa Nova album, an incredible mono recording from 1966 in very good condition.
