Presently, she is reviving her singing career with the

release of a 12" dance record to be released on Rhino

Records, and is also hard at work on her autobiography,

tentatively lifted Naked In The Rain which she says is

" the story of a survivor." While this record takes a look

back to some of bet earlier work, Mamie remains a viva.

cous, optimistic person, and It's encouraging to see that

Mamie Van Doren continues to look forward for a

Hollywood "sex symbol," that's the most heartening

thing of all
