Artist / Title: Fairport Convention / Liege and Lief Release Info: A&M (SP 4257) - Pre-release Monarch Test Pressing from 1970. This is from the collection of a former A&M employee. The record was kept in a UK Island cover with the catalog number “SP 4257” written in blue ink on the top right. Condition: Gatefold UK Island cover shows light shelf wear as shown. A couple of stains on back. A seam split measuring about an inch on top middle of the pocket side. The spine is fully intact and legible. Vinyl has nice gloss with a few of cosmetic marks. Plays with light occasional audibles, mostly between songs and during quieter passages. Features hand written labels.

After some additional research, H.V. Waddell was a pressing plant based in Los Angeles. My best guess is that only the test pressing was made at this plant, making it quite unique. Subsequent pressings were made at other plants.
