LP STEREO CHARISMA CAS 1074 - 1973 UK 1ST PRESS COMPLETE WITH LYRIC INSERT, LARGE MAD HATTER CHARISMA LABELS WITH B&C CREDITS AND PORKY PRIME CUT ETCHING IN THE DEAD/WAX LEAD-OUT GROOVE INDICATING THAT THIS PRESSING WAS CUT BY GEORGE PECKHAM (AKA PORKY), A LACQUER-CUTTING AND MASTERING ENGINEER WITH AN ILLUSTRIOUS CAREER THAT INCLUDES WORK ON THE BEATLES, GENESIS AND LED ZEPPELIN CATALOGUES AMONGST OTHERS. ALSO HAS HELPED ON THE ENGINEERING ASPECTS AND SPECIAL CUTS FOR JOHN LENNON - AC DC – WINGS - JETHRO TULL – FREE – WHO – TEN YEARS AFTER – TRAFFIC - YES & KING CRIMSON.

The vinyl is visually graded in excellent condition. Please note that this LP is over 51 year old, has been played and will not transform in anything different to the condition stated.

The large Mad Hatter 1st press Charisma labels are in near mint minus condition. Please note that both labels state marketed by B&C records which was ommited in the second pressings with small mad hatter labels.

The inner lyric insert is in near mint minus condition.

 

The sleeve is in very good plus condition with a name written in the back and a small sticker residue mark.

 

The spine is in near mint minus condition.

Visually-graded vinyl: A visual grading will identify physical flaws (such as scratches) and can help determine whether a record has been cared-for properly. A visual grading will not identify noise or crackle caused by non-visible sources. Most of the records I sell are between thirty and fifty years old and so it is likely that there may be some background noise even if they look perfect.

Mint                      
Cover - Looks new - no marks, wear or damage
Disc - Looks unplayed - no marks visible
 
Near Mint              
Cover - Looks virtually new with signs of handling- Minor wear creases but no marks or damage. Light sleeves may show slight discoloration due to age.
Disc - May have minor scuffs &/or hairline scratches caused by moving record in & out of paper sleeve
 
Excellent                
Cover - Slight signs of wear on edges/spine, corners or ring wear. No damage caused by sticker removal/residue.
Disc- The record has been played and has superficial marks &/or hairline scratches and paper scuffs.
 
Very good              
Cover - Moderate edge/spine or ring wear. Corners may be a little blunt. Opening edge may show feathering caused by removal of record. Visible creases or laminate lift. Localised sticker removal damage.
Disc - The record has been played frequently and has noticeable surface marks, occasional light scratches and paper scuffs. 
 
Good                      
Cover - Heavy ring or edge/spine wear. Corners noticeable bashed. Heavy creases. Considerable laminate/surface damage. 
Disc - The record looks very well played and the sound quality has probably deteriorated noticeably. A lot of surface marks/scratches. Usually used as collection filler
