Since forming in 2007, Doylestown, PA product have rapidly established themselves as one of the most promising new voices in post-millenial punk. The No Sleep records quintet made a bold step toward delivering on that promise with the release of their full-length debut, earlier this year, blending a bevy of seemingly disparate influences from Neutral Milk Hotel to Nirvana with a production assist from venerated veteran Brian McTernan.

Tigers Jaw is an band from . They have three albums, a self-titled album on Prison Jazz Records, which was re-released in 2010 on Run for Cover Records, a split EP with Balance and Composure on Run for Cover Records, and a new album Two Worlds on Run for Cover Records. They also released a 7-inch, "Spirit Desire", in 2009, on Tiny Engines Records.

The punk music website gave their debut record a generally positive review, noting that "Tigers Jaw is fueled by emotionally-driven lyrics brought to life by vocalist Adam McIlwee, whose voice is one of those that reveal passion while at the same time giving the impression that he's barely trying. Aforementioned opener "The Sun" is one of the better tracks on the album, offering up a well-organized mix of Tigers Jaw's two personas."

Also reviewing the debut, another punk music website cited that the tracks "'Plane vs. Tank vs. Submarine' and 'Chemicals' both [...] feature some solid guitar work in the form of weeping, goosebump-inducing solos. Strong vocal harmonies and bouncy guitar work carry both "I Saw Water" and "Heat" to heights other bands would have a hard time reaching."
