Description "No.2".. Post to the UK is FREE..International buyers get a reduced rate..(I combine post as well!).. South America:I will only post if it is trackable!. Other early Elvis LP's listed (including the first one!)...So.... Here's a really clean playing copy of his great second album...This is SO hard to find in ANY condition..The first original copy that I have turned up in at least 10 years! The sleeve is a bit distressed but the disc plays really well!.. The matrix numbers are 2N and 1 N...It's a first pressing.. The mothers and stampers are:..1GD and 3GR.. Issued by HMV on 19th October 1956....UK pressing in a fully laminated sleeve..It still has it's original HMV poly lined inner sleeve. Play grade...EX minus..No real problems with the play of this one as the sound is clean and undistorted..There is a pop at the end of the second track on side one an the 5th track (also on side 1) is a little noisey..Apart from which,it plays GREAT with no other clicks or pops and an absolute minimal of surface noise.... I have done the sound clip from side 1 and it should illustrate the minor defects as well as how good the disc plays..  No music software has been used to alter the sound quality..What you hear is how good it plays!...(I would'nt know how to use such software anyway!).   Visual grade:..To the naked eye,the disc looks EX..It's clean and undamaged with no scratches or scuffs.. Strong light reveals paper scuffs and light hairlines..Nothing serious or likely to affect play...The disc still has a reasonable sheen as well. The disc plays flat on the deck with no edge warps.. The labels:...Clean and undamaged,even the gilt text is untarnished....There is light spindle wear.... The sleeve..Like his first album,this came in a flimsy,lightweight sleeve (certainly not built to survive the ravages of nearly 60 years!!).. This sleeve is tatty.. Here are the defects.. There is sellotape repair to the front opening edge where a missing piece has been reassembled into the front of the sleeve.. There is rubbing to all the edges (heaviest to the top and bottom).. There is a small seam split at the bottom and at the top of the opening edge.. The back opening edge has wear.. The opening edge has an upward curl and small tears. Having said that,there is no scribble and most of the text on the spine is legible. The original inner sleeve has some corner creasing and light dischape but is otherwise clean with no seam splits.. UK buyers are welcome to collect this in person or collect it from The Southend Record Fair (9th February,9th March) and then the second Sunday in each month)..Where there are LOADS of great albums and singles offered for sale...
