YUSEF LATEEF - Jazz 'Round The World, Impulse A-56
This is an original 1964 Mono pressing. Van Gelder is stamped in the dead wax.

CONDITION:

VINYL is VG+.  This a nice and shiny, heavy record, that plays excellent. I heard soft surface noise for a few seconds at a time on some tracks and between a few tracks only. The labels are very clean, with no spindle marks on them.

COVER is average with nice color and high gloss. There's light surface wear, a light water damage warp in the lower right, the laminate is peeling along the opening on the back, and there's writing on the back. Even with all of that, it's still a great looking cover. No splits. This is a nicely squared heavy gate-fold cover.

PACKAGING:

I ship in sturdy cardboard LP mailers with the record separated from the cover (unless it's sealed). I also fill the mailer with extra cardboard to prevent the record from sliding around in the package.

GRADING - (DONE VISUALLY, UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED) Near Mint is my highest grade, & I don't use ++. I don't grade covers, I just describe them.
 

NEAR MINT (NM) - Nearly perfect vinyl. No obvious signs of wear. Clean looking labels. Looks like it was hardly ever played. This record looks like it will play without any surface noise.

EXCELLENT (EX) - An excellent quality record with no more than a few very faint scuffs. This record may look like it has been played, but handled with extreme care.

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) - Record surface may show some slight signs of wear and may have light scuffs but nothing you can feel with your fingertip. Faint surface noise may be present between tracks and at the lead in.

VERY GOOD (VG) - Many of the defects found on a VG+ record are more pronounced on a VG disc. Surface noise may be heard but will not overpower the music. There may be light scratches that can affect the sound with occasional pop and crackle.
