HANK MOBLEY:  BLUE NOTE Records BLP-1568  (Mfd in NYC in the 50's)  This is THE hard one to find.  I got it from its original owner, who obtained this back in the 50's.  The Cover is in EXCELLENT condition, almost new.  It's super clean.  The Front has a light "Cream" color;  the Back is very clean and White.  I couldn't get good lighting on this, so none of the Pictures really do it justice.  The Cover looks almost like it was just printed up.  Please not the tight, square corners on all 4 sides.  There is a very small spot at the Front Top left hand corner that is either a small wrinkle in the cover paper, or a very light "beginning of a crease".  Please scroll through all 12 Pictures that are posted here.  The Labels are clean and new on both sides.  Please note the variations on both.  There were supposedly only 200-300 of these copies made.  The Vinyl itself looks very clean and almost new/new.  If there are any paper scuffs, they are so light that I can't see them.  The Run-Off Groove has the Ear Mark on it, and the Machine Stamped RVG.  It also has hand etched:  BN-LP-1568 A and B;  both sides also have an etched 9 and M.  The Sound Quality is very nice and clean;  it plays VG++/Almost New.  Overall, you'll probably never find a better copy of this Classic BLUE NOTE.  I've posted some audio clips from both sides of this record at:     -  If you click onto this hyperlink, you can download them as WINDOWS MEDIA AUDIO FILES and listen for yourself.  CRANK IT UP!  I can ship this anywhere in the USA Media Rate for $4.00.  If it sells to a non-US Buyer for $120-$300, it will have to ship Air Priority ($48.00), and I'll have to pay for Insurance for the full amount sold. If it sells to a non-US Buyer for over $300, it will have to ship Global Express Mail, and I'll pay for Insurance.  GLOBAL EXPRESS  Postage Rates will have to be determined by the Post Office.  It will depend on where the package ships.  We'll have to figure it out later, but it will probably cost around $90-$130.  Please remember that this will have to be Insured for the full value.  The POST OFFICE LOSES PACKAGES, don't blame me if it happens to you. Since I will have to insure it, I will have to declare full sales value; if paying other than PAYPAL, I can ship it any way you want. PAYPAL rules make it very difficult and expensive to ship anything out of the country now, since they require on-line Tracking Numbers. You can't get that with simple First Class International shipping. The US Post Office has made it very difficult to Insure packages leaving the country. I can take PAYPAL (and others). Again, if you can pay me and not use PAYPAL, I'll be happy to ship it any way you want it.   PLEASE DON'T PAY UNTIL YOU RECEIVE AN INVOICE FROM ME.  Good luck!

My Camera put too much color in the pictures, making them appear with way too much color.  The Cream Color in the Front Cover is really a very light Cream color (off-white), and it's not as intense as the pictures make it look.  Also, I'm having problems with my Windows Media Audio system.  I hope the Sound Clips all play OK for you.  The Recording was made with my fairly new, light Stereo Cartridge USB Turntable.  It was plugged directly into my PC, and the recording was made on the internal PC Audio Recorder, which only does Windows Media Audio files.  It's not the right Cartridge and Needle for any '50's albums, but it's the best I have.  I'm trying to find a more reliable recording system....   Thanks for your time.

Hi.  It's Tuesday afternoon and the Sound Clips are finally working.  The problem was with my Internet Provider, dealing with a Server/FTP failure issue.  I don't know how long it will continue working, so please click onto the Hyperlink now and listen while you can.  Thanks.
