NOTE:  According to BLUE NOTE RECORDS by Fred Cohen this is not a true first pressing.  It is a very early pressing however and quite rare being MONO...

 

 LABEL =    BLUE NOTE 4124 MONO [DEEP GROOVE SIDE ONE BLUE AND WHITE LABEL {very early} NEW YORK USA PRESSING]

 Condition Record =  VG+/vg   has a lot of light surface visible and spindle marks.  Has "ear" &  "vangelder" in wax    

Condition Cover =  VG++   43 West 61st St., New York 23 address.  no writing.  small seam split top right 1/2".  has age/ring wear.   small damage to side where record is inserted.   

1960's RVG MATERIAL.   FEATURING:  Donald Byrd, Hank Mobley, Donald Best, Kenny Burrell, Herbie Hancock, Butch Warren, Lex Humphries, Arrangements by Duke Pearson.  Colleridge Perkins directs the voices.

TUNES: Elijah, Beast of burden, Cristo redentor, The black desciple, Chant.

 

Grading Scale:

MINT= A genuinely perfect record in both vinyl and cover
M=A nearly perfect record. Will have only one or two visual flaw on vinyl and/or cover
NM=Vinyl has no audible scratches but may have visual flaws. Cover will have only slight ring or edge wear.
VG++ = Vinyl will be in Near Mint Condition. Cover will have ring and/or edge wear.
VG+ = One or two light audible scratches only. Cover will have ring and/or edge wear. Possible writing on Cover and/or label.
VG = Several audible scratches, but not throughout vinyl. Cover will have wear, but no splits or tears. Possible writing on jacket and/or label.
Good = Scratches on vinyl that will effect play, but no skips or repeats. Cover may have significant wear, split, tear or tape.
