I. R. S. Records SP 70604 (stereo) (made in USA) - R. E. M. - Murmur LP released in 1983. This is an original first pressing.
Pressed on translucent purple virgin vinyl. The record appears black unless it is held up to a light and then it becomes apparent that the record is a deep translucent purple. Many copies of their next LP, "Reckoning", were pressed on vinyl of this type but this is the first copy of "Murmur" that I have seen on purple vinyl.
The condition of the record is near mint. The cover is in VG+ condition, no seam or spine splits, no writing or holes. Includes original issue custom inner sleeve with lyrics and credits.
