USA FIRST PRESSING STEREO VINYL LP ON TRICOLOR LABEL WITH 'YAMETA PRODUCTION' CREDIT, IN GATEFOLD SLEEVE WITH ORIGINAL REPRISE INNER SLEEVE.

One of the masterpieces of blues-based psychedelic rock, this is an essential album in any rock fan's collection, and this particular USA first pressing is in splendid condition compared to the usually completely knackered copies we often see these days. Hendrix purists rave about the UK Track label original mono mix, which is really rather thin, bright and weedy if truth be told - the panning and guitar/sound effects really do so neater in stereo - we guess you have to have a copy of each!

SLEEVE: EXCELLENT MINUS, JUST THE LIGHTEST OF SHELF AND EDGE WEAR. THIS IS THE BEST LOOKING STEREO SLEEVE WE HAVE SEEN FOR THIS ALBUM IN MANY-A-YEAR. INNER SLEEVE IS VERY GOOD+ JUST A FEW CREASES AND A BOTTOM MIDDLE SEAM SPLIT.

DISC: EXCELLENT MINUS. THERE IS ONE VERY LIGHT SCRATCH ON SIDE 1 WHICH WE WERE UNABLE TO HEAR ON PLAY-CHECKING, A FINGERNAIL TYPE SCUFF THAT IS NOT A SCRATCH AND DID NOT SOUND, AND SOME LIGHT HAIRLINES. CLEAN LABELS. THIS DISC HAS NOT BEEN PLAYED VERY MUCH, AND PLAYED WITHOUT SKIPS OR JUMPS, AND NO DETRIMENTAL SURFACE NOISES. A SPLENDID PLAYING COPY WITH SUPERB AUDIO IN A KEEPER-SLEEVE.
