Label:   RCA VICTOR.  Black label with white dog, silver text.  Monaural pressing on medium weight vinyl, with deep groove.   Catalog number is LPM-1254 on disc/ LPM-1254-RE on jacket. 

Matrix numbers are:  G2 PP1282-20S / G2 PP1283-12S

Date:  Original release for this album was 1956; however this pressing (LPM-1254-RE) is believed to be from 1963/64. 

Condition: 

DISC:  Vinyl retains 100% of original gloss, has been played a small number of times and handled with care.  Grades nice VG+ with excellent fidelity.  There are several minor hairline scuffs that produce an occasional isolated soft tick, but no serious marks or skips.  Labels are clean.  A very nice playing copy of this early Presley rockabilly classic LP, his first for the label.

JACKET:   Jacket is nice VG+ with no major issues other than the fact that the original owner wrote her name conspicuously across the guitar.  With that exception, the front artwork is otherwise clean and bright.  Reverse panel has some light smudge marks on the right side and a bit of light ring wear; however, is overall very clean.  Seams and spine are fully intact but have a few little surface chips. 

A nice opportunity to pick up this classic ELVIS debut RCA album in an early pressing, without the hefty price tag usually found on the first pressing.
