The Capitol Music Store was based in Nairobi and issued records from the late 50's and into the 70's. This is one of the first of a batch of 78s I have come across, and these 78s are exceedingly rare !!
this was one of the few pictures of Kenyan guitarist Isaya Mwiamo I could find on the net
It shows him with an electric guitar altough on this 78 only acoustic guitars are being played.
As can be seen by my scan he is also featured on the original CMS 78 record sleeve where it also lists 6 other records available by him.
I believe this 78 was actually pressed in the sixties and it MAY BE manufactured from a very hard vinyl rather than shellac.
