NOTE:   .........Very rare hard to find Gigi Gryce session. 

COLLECTORS NOTES:  Vinyl has purple labe with {RVG} in wax.  Very heavy vinyl.  Front cover is original laminated but has a "status" sticker.  Back is status issue also...................

 

 LABEL =  PRESTIGE / NEW JAZZ 8230 MONO [PURPLE LABEL 1960's PRESSING]

 Condition Record =  VG++   some light surface visible     

Condition Cover =  VG++   no writing.  seam split side middle 2" repaired with clear tape.  small inspection stamp  on back cover.

1960 RVG MATERIAL.  ARTISTS:  Benny Golson, Richard Williams, Richard Wyands, Reggie Workman, Mickey Roker.

TUNES:   Back breaker, Leila's blues, Blues in the jungle, Down home, Let me know, Jones bones.

 

Grading Scale:

MINT= A genuinely perfect record in both vinyl and cover
M=A nearly perfect record. Will have only one or two visual flaw on vinyl and/or cover
NM=Vinyl has no audible scratches but may have visual flaws. Cover will have only slight ring or edge wear.
VG++ = Vinyl will be in Near Mint Condition. Cover will have ring and/or edge wear.
VG+ = One or two light audible scratches only. Cover will have ring and/or edge wear. Possible writing on Cover and/or label.
VG = Several audible scratches, but not throughout vinyl. Cover will have wear, but no splits or tears. Possible writing on jacket and/or label.
Good = Scratches on vinyl that will effect play, but no skips or repeats. Cover may have significant wear, split, tear or tape.
