In celebration of The Ataris 2014 reunion tour, Kung Fu Records is proud to announce that they will be re-issuing the pop-punk band's back catalog on limited edition vinyl including Look for Anywhere But Here (1997), Blue Skies Broken Hearts...Next 12 Exits (1999), End Is Forever (2001) and So Long Astoria (2003).

After 3.5 albums on Kung Fu, The Ataris graduated to the big leagues and knocked it out of the park with their breakthrough fourth album - So Long, Astoria (named after the town from 1985 film The Goonies) - which is home to the band's biggest hit of their career, a punk cover of Don Henley's "Boys of Summer," plus the compelling singles "In This Diary" and "The Saddest Song."

Frontman Kristopher Roe speaking on the "golden age" of pop punk to Chicagoist: "That era was good for a lot of bands that kind of got lumped into what was called pop punk. I think So Long, Astoria stood out because it's a genreless album. It's just a rock album...It's great how music can take you back to a place and time and the memories associated with that. I think that's what's great about music and this album."
