Justin Pearson indicated that the Some Girls saw the bands , , Year Future, , , , and as related in style.
Their breakup was announced in a Punknews article, published October 23, 2007. The band's former label, "Deathwish Inc." went on to confirm this announcement by posting that Some Girls had "called it a day." From Deathwish Inc.'s official website:
