This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1972 release of An American Trilogy / The First Time Ever I saw Your Face released in the USA.

The vinyl record itself (74-0672)is in EXCELLENT- condition and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.(looks almost unplayed!) 

 The labels downgrade the record overall to a VERY GOOD+ as they have some heavy rigwear and a name written on one side.(see photos)

The labels only grade as  Very good /very good-(see photos)

The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $80 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is  EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+ )for the sleeve alone!!!

This sleeve is over 41 years old and shows a few signs of ageing. 

There are NO SPLITS, RIPS, TEARS or WRITING.

The only thing that stops this from grading even higher is some creases/ringwear/scuff marks.

This sleeve falsely advertizes  From Elvis " Standing Room Only " Album !

This album NEVER came out as an official release ( Elvis as recorded at Madison Square Garden came out instead)

This sleeve does not come up for auction very often!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $100(£65 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £70.

THIS WOULD BE A GREAT AFFORDABLE COLLECTION FILLER UNTIL THAT (£90+) MINT RECORD AND SLEEVE COME ALONG!!!!! 

With a starting price at under half that you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
