This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1966 Gold Standard Series single Milky White Way / Swing Down Sweet Chariot released in the USA.

The record itself (447-0651 Dog On Top ) is in EXCELLENT condition and retains a lot of it's natural sheen. (looks hardly played!)

This really is a beauty!!!!

The labels are CRISP, CLEAN and have NO WRITING!.

The picture sleeve is much sought after and is in VERY GOOD+ condition but that said this is a rarity!

This sleeve is 49 years old and has a few flaws which stop it from grading higher(see photos)

The things that stop this from grading higher is ringwear/creases/scuff marks, a split along one side and the release date written on the front(see photos)

That all said , THIS REALLY IS QUITE A RARITY and A HARD ONE TO FIND and is a nice affordable collection filler until that mint $350 (£220) record and sleeve come along!

Overall 2 years ago this was still valued at $200+(£140) , so i guess it must now be at least £150.

I will start this at under A THIRD OF THAT!!!!!

With a LOW START and NO RESERVE, you will get a GREAT bargain.
