Released back in 1968, Wheels of Fire was perhaps the trio’s greatest commercial success, charting at #3 in the UK and #1 in the US, al while becoming the first ever platinum selling double album.
Widely regarded a classic, it was ranked #203 on Rolling Stone’s Greatest Albums of All Time list.
