Offered is a superb FIVE- LP stereophonic set with 53 tracks:  Ella Fitzgerald Sings the George & Ira Gershwin Songbook.  Arrangements by Nelson Riddle, who also conducts the backing orchestra.  Verve put this set together in 1961 and it is a gem: This set is why people buy vinyl!  Rich, smooth, lush sound, excellent miking and engineering, fine tonal balance, just great in every way.

I bought this set from a retired jazz DJ, who took fine care of his collection.

Verve Records catalog #V6-29-5.  These are stereo vinyls LP, not a CD!

LP grading:  Truly Near Mint.  Judging by the appearance of the vinyl and the labels, most of these sides were never played.  No scratches and no scuffs are visible.  The surfaces are bright and uniformly shiny.  The labels near the spindle holes appear untouched, with no friction marks visible.  I played sides one and two and heard near-zero surface noise.

Box grading:  Very Good Plus.  Partial split top right corner, and center lower front edge.  Slight scuffing, edge wear, and age-yellowing.  The box hinge is strong and intact. 

If you are looking for this particular Ella set, your search has ended.  I doubt you will find a nicer one on eBay.
