Recorded on 21 and 22 April 1999 at the Berkeley Community Theater, the famous S&M concerts saw Metallica perform with backing from the San Francisco Symphony.
Bearing 21-track career-spanning setlist, the concerts saw many of the band’s classics reinterpreted with the addition of strings, from obvious ballads such as Nothing Else Matters to furious thrash metal classics like One and Master of Puppets.
