This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1956 EP release of ELVIS PRESLEY - Elvis Volume 1 released in the USA.

The record itself (EPA 992 dog on top)is in VERY GOOD condition with some visible marks/scratches (none too deep) and retains some of it's natural sheen.(see photos)

The centre labels have NO WRITING(see photos)

This is the RARE issue WITHOUT Horizontal Line.

This is also a 1st pressing as indicated by the trail off as 1s.

The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $50 in the condition it is in now (which i would say is VERY GOOD+ )for the sleeve alone!!!

This sleeve is 59 years old and is in reasoable condition for the age.

There are No Major Flaws, however there are a few that stop this from grading even higher (see photos)

The only thing that stops this grading higher is creases/scuff marks, a water stain on the front slick and corner wear(see photos)  

That all said, This is a really affordable collection filler until that MINT £95+ copy comes along.

The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!

Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $75(£48+approx) .

I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £50.

With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
