Having gained notoriety as the furious frontman of London hardcore merchants Gallows, Frank Carter departed in 2011 with the band at their peak, citing differing views as to the group’s future direction.
Even so, the poppy sound of Carter’s new band Pure Love came as a shock to some, with their 2013 debut Anthem’s unveiled to mixed reviews and failing to inspire the devotion attracted by Carter’s old outfit.
Now, though, with that project seemingly consigned to history, the Hempstead firecracker is returning to what he does best.
And he’s back with a vengeance, with this debut from latest band The Rattlesnakes already threatening to derail Grey Britain as the most explosive record he’s ever been involved in.
