This is an auction for an Original copy of the HARD TO FIND 1956 DOUBLE EP release ELVIS PRESLEY  released in the USA.

The records themselves (EPB 1254 dog on top) are visually in VERY GOOD / VERY GOOD- condition with some visible marks/scratches.(nothing too deep or drastic though)

The centre labels however do have some ringwear/rubbing and one has a small initial blending into the background (see photos)

Disc 2 (sides 2 and 3 ) has a swirl like pattern on the vinyl but I don't think this will affect play.

This is also the RARE issued set WITHOUT SILVER LINE!

The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $60  in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD+ / VERY GOOD )for the sleeve alone!!!

This sleeve is 59 years old and is still in reasonable condition for the age.(see photos)

This rare gatefold sleeve has no major defects and shows some wear consistent with age such as ringwear/creases, partial seam splits on the top and side and wear to the opener.

On the plus side the spine is in nice condition  and there is NO WRITING!

The only things that stop this from grading even higher is some ringwear/scuff marks, a name and partial address stamp on the guitar on the front cover , a number written on Elvis' face and some slight age discolouration on the rear (see photos)

This is also the RARE version of this sleeve without any other releases shown on the rear and this is the RARE MISPRESSED version showing the titles for sides 2 and 3 around the wrong way but the inside shows the correct  listing on the inner gatefold of the sleeve. (see photos 1 and 2 to compare the listings)

This is a really affordable addition to fill any collection until that mint £275+ record and sleeve come along!!.

The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this RARE sleeve!!

Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $250(£175 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £180.

THIS REALLY IS A HARD TO FIND TO SLEEVE!!!

With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
