Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.

This is an auction for: Sarah Vaughan – After Hours – RARE Original Vinyl LP album from 1961.

Columbia Records

MONO

1N, 1N Matrix (First Pressing).

Vinyl Condition: VG/EX (The record is in lovely condition for its age and has a lovely shine. There are a few minor marks in places and there is a light scratch on the last track on side 1 but plays through fine with just the odd pop and light tick, nothing continuous. There are a few light lines in places but nothing to worry about. There is almost no crackle, just the odd pop in places which could well be a small bit of dirt. Overall the record is in very nice condition and plays great. No sticks or jumps at all).

Inner Sleeve Condition: VG (Original inner sleeve is missing so I have placed the record in a new polylined inner to protect it).

Outer Sleeve Condition: VG (Front laminated flip-back sleeve is in very nice condition however there is an approx. 6cm split to the bottom right edge. There are a lot of yellow foxing dots on the back. Apart from this the sleeve is in great shape for its age and looks great).

I grade my vinyl’s as follows:

M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.

Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.

VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.

If you would like further information on sleeve or record condition then please email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Please note: Due to the large amount of CD’s and records that I am selling, I don’t have time to include the track listings. If the track listing is important to you then please email me and I will send you the track list.
