Sore is the debut album from Canadian newcomers Dilly Dally, a duo comprised of self-taught guitarists Katie Monks and Liz Ball, who developed a ‐ sister like bond in high school.
Bearing shared influences such as Nirvana and The Pixies, the record is both heavy and melodic, with pop sensibilities that shine through the noise.
Further strengthened by the production of Josh Korody, the pair sweep the listener along into a screaming psyche as Monks’ coarse holler slides in cadence and scale.
