Bemerkungen / Comments:
The German fusion group Sunbirds was founded by jazz musicians Klaus Weiss (drums) and Fritz Pauer (keyboards) in Munich in 1971. They were joined by Ferdinand Povel on flute, Jimmy Woode on bass and famous guitarist Philip Catherine. Soon after they started the band signed a contract with the then newly-founded BASF label, and the LP was released late '71. This wonderful vinyl reissue LP comes with sound from the original master tapes and is limited to 1.000 hand-numbered copies. It comes with the original cover artwork and a deluxe, large 4-page insert.
