This LP was perhaps my most-anticipated record of 2011, and holy f*** does it deliver. All of Total Control's previous records were just a little bit different from one another, so I was wondering how this LP was going to turn out. It turns out they've mixed all of the style perfectly into one of the most glorious long-players I've heard in some time... there are garage rock songs that kind of remind me of Jay Reatard, total synth-punk weirdness, ambient passages, and some great hard post-punkers. Holy s***... I am going to listen to this LP every day for the rest of my life. To say this is essential is a huge understatement. GET THIS!!! Iron Lung Records
