ALBUM INFO:

The WHO :- ... QUADROPHENIA...

ALL ROUND EXCELLENT 1st UK Press "ALL TIME CLASSIC WHO ALBUM".

1973 UK TRACK 1st UK Press.

NON-LAMINATED BOOKLET COVER:- EXCELLENT PLUS ,  VINYL:- BOTH Nr MINT ..

This was their 6th studio album on Track Records label released in the October 1973.... QUADROPHENIA ....... You would be hard pushed to see TWO better vinyl records. With  A 1  & B 2  RECORD 1 & A 1 & B 2 RECORD 2, Matrix Numbers . In 1970's most people owned old fashioned Radio Gram type record players, which lead to a lot of records becoming damaged, hence the RARITY of this CLASSIC ALBUM. This is the ORIGINAL UK POLYDOR "TRACK" 1st press version from 1973... So hard to find in any playable condition, as they have been squirreled away in collections or worse thrown away. I believe that there are very few better rock albums, you would be hard pushed to find better.

The sleeve is un-laminated gate fold front and back and centre, without any WRITING OR MARKS. Please take a L@@K at the photographs An opportunity to own a Mega Rare true rock classic.

VINYL:

NEAR MINT (BOTH) :- I can only say this still in fantastic condition, plays with no distortion, no jumps, no background noise.

SLEEVE :

Near Mint condition, 1st Press Rarely seen in this condition, earliest issue, NO RING WEAR!! have a look at the photo's it's non-laminated sleeve has NO writing or scuffing. Theres a little price sticker removal mark, that's the only thing to mention, It is very near perfect as new!  It's in beautiful condition, all the leafs are undamaged no tears.

SPINE:

Fully readable spine.

INNER SLEEVE:

EXCELLENT.  the Original paper types ...being the very fragile inner sleeve is a great indicator of the amount of usage the album has had, just a few creases, I would say the inner is the best you could find! and considering how fragile these are.....they are 42 years old, quite unbelievable intact condition.

LABELS:

Clean, No Writing, No spindle marks, no damage.

GRADING SYSTEM: In order to assist everyone who buys and sells rare discs, Record Collector magazine has originated a set of standards for the condition of second-hand records, I have added a (+) or (-) to my gradings where applicable.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

PAYMENT:

Items must be paid for within five days. If non payment within five days, I will then instigate an eBay ruling. I will set up a dispute and either offer it to the runner up bidder or re-list.
