If you like hardcore and thrash this is a must! Texas produced some of the best punk/hardcore/thrash in the world and THE OFFENDERS are no exception! This recording captures THE OFFENDERS on their ?Endless Tour? of 1985 at the legendary C.B.G.B.?s during the golden period of hardcore.

Our take: Punk live release are, if anything, a mixed bag, but I usually at least check out live recordings from CBGB as their sound system was legendary and generally the stuff that comes off the soundboard there sounds pretty good. This Offenders material is no exception... it sounds really, really good. The fidelity is comparable to that of a Peel Session or another radio session, though given the fact that this is a proper live recording and not just "live in the studio" it has that little extra spark that comes from the interaction between band and audience. There isn't really much in the way of unreleased material, drastically different arrangements, etc., that is going to mean much to the casual fan, but certainly the Offenders were a mighty, mighty band and if you want to hear a well-recorded set from the peak of their career this is pretty much a godsend.
