Mick Karn - The Jump Japan

OVERVIEW: Mick Karn was the bass player of the art rock / new wave band Japan, after which he embarked on a fruitful solo career of innovative and artistic solo music, starting with the album "Titles" in 1982, with another dozen albums following. He also added his distinctive fretless bass sound to important works by Kate Bush, Gary Numan, Peter Murphy (of Bauhaus) and Bill Nelson. He died of cancer at the age of 52 in 2011. "The Jump" was the opening track on his 2004 album "More Better Different" and is available on 7" vinyl for the first time on Record Store Day.
