Payments
We always accept payments via PayPal. We only accept cheques if they are in Pounds Sterling, drawn on a UK bank account and for transactions exceeding £100.00. We may accept bank transfers or postal orders, by prior arrangement only, but you MUST check with us before bidding or buying the item.
Please pay for your items within FOUR days of the item ending. We use Ebay's Unpaid Item Assistant process so if there is going to be any delay in payment, or if you are bidding on other items that you would like to be shipped as one consignment you MUST let us know, otherwise you will automatically receive an unpaid item reminder from Ebay for each unpaid item. VERY IMPORTANT: Please do NOT send any messages via PayPal or outside the eBay system as they may be missed or be blocked by our filtering software. Only send messages via the Ebay messaging system where we will definitely see them and reply. If you don't get a prompt reply it means we have not received your message but please allow us sufficient time to reply to any messages sent outside our normal UK office hours - Monday-Friday 9am to 7pm (ie. evenings/weekends/statutory holidays).
Postage & packaging rates
UK
FREE
International
IMPORTANT NOTE: The packed weight of this item is approximately 2235g and so it cannot be shipped internationally via Royal Mail Air Mail. If you are interested in bidding from outside the UK you MUST ask us for a specific price for postage and packaging to your country BEFORE placing a bid. It will be VERY expensive.
A few very approximate examples of costs are shown below but these are NOT exact prices. We can only give you an exact price once we know the total weight and value of the consignment.
France, Spain, Italy and Western Europe: 4kg - £30.00, 6kg £40.00
USA and North America: 4kg - £55.00, 6kg £75.00
China, Japan and the Far East: 4kg - £65.00, 6kg £80.00
Australasia: 4kg - £70.00, 6kg £85.00
VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:
This set of records can NOT be combined with other sets for postage as the overall packed weight will exceed the Royal Mail 2kg weight limit on international shipments. The FULL postage & packaging charge will be levied on each set shipped.
If the total value of your consignment exceeds £24.99 please wait for an invoice before making payment. Owing to the increasing number of shipments getting 'lost in the post', ALL international consignments over £24.99 in value will be subject to a compulsory additional charge of £5.00 to cover the Royal Mail 'Tracked/Signed' fee as specified by both eBay and PayPal. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS WHATSOEVER!
Consignments to addresses where there has been any history of non-delivery will ONLY be shipped via a tracked/signed service regardless of value. ALL instances of items 'lost in the post' will be reported to eBay, and in order to protect honest buyers we always liase, and co-operate fully, with local law enforcement agencies, postal and courier services in suspected cases of fraud or theft.
If your consignment value is less than £25.00 and you would prefer to have your items sent via a tracked or signed for service there will be an additional charge of £5.00 to cover the cost of the Royal Mail 'Tracked/Signed' fee. Please note that tracked services are not available to all countries. Please let us know if you require this service before sending any payment.
General postage, packaging and despatch information
Please note that we now report ALL 'Item not received' cases to either Royal Mail Complaints department, or the complaints department of the relevant courier, so they can investigate these cases fully and aggregate data for their internal security purposes.
Where postage is shown as FREE this applies to deliveries to UK addresses ONLY and to this item only! If this item is despatched together with other items on which postage is chargeable then only this item will be shipped without any additional charge.
ALL consignments will normally be sent via Royal Mail or other major courier services. You can also collect the items(s) in person, or organise your own courier to collect the item(s). If you organise your own courier they must be able to provide us with signed proof of collection, and there will be a minimum charge of £2.00 to cover the cost of the packaging materials.
The prices quoted for the postage and packaging of additional LPs are approximate. The actual postage and packaging charge for additional LPs will be based on the overall weight of the consignment. Please bear in mind that as the weight of a single LP can vary from 150g to 500g it is not possible to quote an exact price until we know the total packed weight of the items you've purchased. Please don't ask for cheaper Postage and Packaging rates, we don't make any profit on Postage and Packaging and only charge what it costs to pack the item properly and post it but this is NOT just the cost of the stamps. Our Postage and Packaging rates are NOT negotiable and any buyer making unreasonable demands regarding Postage and Packaging charges will be reported to eBay.
International consignments are restricted to the Royal Mail maximum Air Mail weight limit of 2kg (approximately 5 to 7 single LPs) and so those exceeding 2kg MUST be split into more than one package and will be charged accordingly. UK consignments are not subject to this restriction. Consignments with a total value exceeding £100.00 may also be split to minimise the risk of loss or damage in transit.
By bidding on this item you acknowledge that you have read, fully understood and agreed to all the above terms and shipping rates.
Consignments are normally despatched within five working days (excluding weekends and UK statutory holidays) from receipt of cleared funds. If you are bidding on more than one item over a few days we may hold items you have already paid for so your items can be combined for shipping to save you money on P & P. If you need an item urgently (for example, as a present for a special occasion) you MUST let us know so that we can despatch the item immediately.
For international shipments please also allow time for Customs clearance within your country. Consignments to some areas of Russia are currently taking 8 to 10 weeks to clear Customs so if you may be affected by this delay please take it into account when bidding and be patient if your consignment takes longer than normal to arrive. This delay is completely outside our control.
All items are shipped in top quality mailers with additional stiffening as required. Boxed sets are reinforced internally to prevent any damage that could be caused by crushing in transit. This does add to the weight and to the packaging cost but is the only way to ensure that they arrive intact. All LPs, EPs and 45s are thoroughly cleaned on a Keith Monks record cleaning machine (as used by the BBC) prior to despatch.

Important notice to buyers located outside the European Union.
Please note that importing goods from another country can mean that your national Customs or Tax authorities may charge you Customs Duty and/or other additional related taxes (for example a Value Added Tax or a Purchase Tax). YOU, as the importer, are solely responsible for paying any such duties and taxes. We have no control over what duties or taxes you may be charged by your own national authorities and we will not compensate you for the payment of any such duties or taxes. If you do not know how much (if any) duty or import tax you might have to pay, please check with your local tax authorities BEFORE bidding on this item.
Some countries prohibit or restrict the importation of some types of goods. You may need a general or special license and/or other documents to import goods. It is your responsibility to check with your national Customs authorities whether the goods you intend to import are subject to any such restrictions. If your goods are retained or confiscated by your own national Customs authorities for any reason, it is your sole responsibility to negotiate with them the terms on which such goods might be released to you. If your goods are undeliverable for any reason and are returned to us, we reserve the right to reclaim from you any associated costs which may be charged back to us.

All gradings are visual unless a 'Play grade' section is included in the description of the item. Although visual gradings are normally accurate, very occasionally items may have audio flaws that are not immediately apparent from visual inspection alone. Any 'play grading' is carried out on a Michell Gyrodec fitted with an SME arm and Ortofon moving coil cartridge. This will usually involve playing selected test passages with specific attention being given to any visually problematic areas. Please note that we do not always test play the entire set in order to grade it.
If this set was originally issued with special features such as a specific type of box, poster(s), insert(s), photo(s) etc and these features are neither mentioned in the description nor shown in the photos then they are not present or included with this copy.
Original inner sleeves will be used wherever possible. Where the original inner sleeves are missing or damaged they will be replaced with an alternative. We don't ever knowingly sell records that jump, stick or skip unless this is clearly stated in the description. All flaws such as significant damage, warping, foxing, jumps, sticks, sticker removal tears, library stamps, writing on the sleeve or labels will be detailed in the description and/or shown in the photographs of the item. Please bear in mind that you are buying a second-hand item that could be up to 60 years old, so don't assume that it will be in perfect, as new condition unless this is very clearly stated.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel the purchase of any item within 14 days from the day you receive the item. You then have a further 14 days to return the item to us at your expense. Please see our returns policy for more details.
Please bear in mind that as we're only human, we do get things wrong very occasionally and if we have made a mistake we will always do our absolute utmost to rectify it to your complete satisfaction.
Both our reputation and happy customers are very important to us so if you have any issue whatsoever with an item you've bought please always contact us BEFORE leaving neutral or negative feedback, or low DSR scores, and let us try to turn your negative experience into a positive one. You'll almost always be very pleasantly surprised at the outcome. We always try to sort out problems promptly and amicably and if even if we can't reach agreement we still offer a full no-quibble refund (you MUST pay the return postage) if you're not completely satisfied. If you're unwilling to give us a chance to rectify any problem that may arise then please buy from another seller.
If you have any questions or need any more photos please ask.
