RECORD  GRADING CODE

To ensure satisfaction, great care is given to correct grading.

Records are cleaned to remove contaminants, fingerprints, reduce

remnants of surface marks left from storage.

Accurate playback systems are used to check any surface marks for audible wear.

Any marks are examined in detail and checked for surface noise.

Silent marks inherent to the LP pressing process are not graded as wear

N/NM = MINT/NEAR MINT CONDITION - A RECORD THAT APPEARS UNPLAYED, FLAWLESS IN EVERY RESPECT.

NM = NEAR MINT CONDITION - A RECORD THAT APPEARS TO BE EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN, ANY VISIBLE MARKS ARE SCARCE, SLIGHT, AND INAUDIBLE.

N - = NEW MINUS CONDITION - A CAREFULLY USED RECORD, MINOR INCIDENTAL HANDLING MARKS ARE SILENT AND RELATIVELY UNOBTRUSIVE IN APPEARANCE.

EX+ = EXCELLENT PLUS CONDITION - RECORD APPEARS SOMEWHAT USED, RETAINS ORIGINAL SOUND QUALITY DESPITE SPOTS OF SURFACE NOISE.

EX = EXCELLENT CONDITION - A MORE USED  RECORD THAT RETAINS BETTER SOUND QUALITY DESPITE OCCASIONAL PASSAGES AFFECTED BY SURFACE NOISE.

VG+ = RECORD PLAYED OFTEN,  MORE EXTENDED AREAS OF LIGHT TO MODERATE SURFACE NOISE, HEAVY WEAR IS EXCLUDED FROM LISTING.
