Released in 1985, Tim is the fourth studio album from The Replacements. The record was their first major label release, and its production - courtesy of Tommy Ramone - gave the band a wider, spacious sound, more polished compared to the previous records, yet still not as glossy and tight as many American underground rock records of the mid-'80s. Critically acclaimed and widely considered to be one of the best alternative rock records of all time, Tim introduced fans to instant classics like Kiss Me On the Bus and the anthemic Bastards of Young.
