This is the 1957 BLUE NOTE RECORDS U.S. DEEP GROOVE MONO LP titled 'Lee Morgan Vol. 3'.  It is Blue Note Records U.S. catalog number 1557. 

RECORD CHARACTERISTICS: Deep groove second pressing with raised rim and slightly raised 'groove guard' labels.  Ear and 'RVG' etched into matrix area.  '47 West 63rd New York 23' address on labels.

COVER CHARACTERISTICS: Thick cardboard with laminated front cover, '47 West 63rd St., New York 23' address at bottom of back cover.

Personnel: Lee Morgan - trumpet / Gigi Gryce - alto sax / Benny Golson - tenor sax / Wynton Kelly - piano / Paul Chambers - bass / Charlie Persip - drums.  Compositions and arrangements by Benny Golson.

I have priced this LP modestly given its highly collectable status due to the condition state of the record - Condition of record is conservatively G with a moderate to fair amount of surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play, and a very few surface scratches which can be felt and which will impact play with some light surface noise, some ticks, and one skip near the end of track 1 on side 2.  Labels are in good shape with the only real flaw being some light spindle marks.  Condition of cover is not too bad at VG with a 1-1/2" split at the right side of the top edge, the front cover lamination beginning to come up in a few spots along the right hand and top edges, some wrinkles, a tiny bit of writing and a small rubber stamp on the upper areas of the back cover, some contact wear, and some general wear along the edges and on the corners.  This sought after early press Blue Note LP would make a great addition to any jazz record collection!  Media mail postage within the U.S. is $4.00.  I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE - PLEASE NOTE: REGISTERED WITH SIGNATURE DELIVERY FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL AIRMAIL POSTAGE TO AREAS OUTSIDE THE U.S EXCEPT FOR CANADA (31.45) AND GERMANY is $35.95.  BUYER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE!
