John Hartford & The Hartford String Band "Down On The River" LP original 1989 Flying Fish FF514 (see photos). This is an extremely rare vinyl copy of this LP and has a label printing error as well. LP cover says Down ON the River while the labels say Down BY the River.
The vinyl is graded "NM" condition; radio station call letters on side one (see photos).
The jacket is graded "VG+" condition with radio call letters on cover, 3" spinewear and top corner cutout notch (see photos).
Record grading is visual and based on the following criteria:
“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.
“M” Mint - a near perfect or unplayed record.
“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.
“EX+” close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.
“EX” a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.
“VG+” There will be obvious signs of wear and a few skuffs and light surface noise, but still quite nice.
"VG" Audible/visible scuffs, scratches and surface noise but plays without skipping.
"G"/"G+" Considerable surface noise, scuffing, groovewear and scratching.
