The Freddie Mercury Album: A - 1 / B - 1

This rare and collectable LP is in fantastic condition and is still contained within the original shrinkwrap accept for the opening edge.  The previous owner assured me that it was only played the once and as detailed below the audio quality confirms this.  This is a first pressing in archive, final upgrade condition.

Visual grading

This vinyl is in absolute pristine condition and has been incredibly well cared for.  It looks like new and is visually stunning with no hairlines or scratches.  It is obvious to see that it has only been played the once confirmed also by the complete lack of spindle wear.  It really is a rarity to find this rare LP in such amazing condition.

Play grading

The opening track, 'The Great Pretender' plays with Mint quality apart from one pop in the middle.  Strange really as there is no scratch or blemish so perhaps it was caused during manufacture.  The remainder of the side has audio of the highest standard also.  One click at the start of 'Time' and a couple during 'Exercises...' but for a vinyl of 25 years it plays with astonishing quality.  There is an imperceptible amount of background static and certainly no crackle.  With complete silence between tracks this is a superb listen.

With no lead in static you know 'Mr. Bad Guy' is going to play well and it does!  The clarity once again is stunning and it plays without fault, Mint in every way.  This side throughout plays with impeccable audio and the depth and quality is just incredible.  There is no interference apart from a small amount of static and one light click in the middle of 'Barcelona'.  Otherwise it plays with sheer perfection.

Cover

The cover is in pristine condition and is Mint accept for one miniscule crease on the bottom opening edge.  As stated it is still contained within the original shrinkwrap and has no splits anywhere.  The edges and spine are in perfect shape and have received no knocks over the last quarter of a century.  The opening edge is beautifully clean with no handling wear.  All in all a stunning cover and probably the best I have ever seen.

The lyric inner is in immaculate condition and grades as Mint.  I have never seen better.  Not one crease or split, wow!

The labels

They are in perfect condition with no spindle wear, just a little flaking around the spindle hole which again shows this record has hardly been played.
