MINT: I do not use this grade. . NEAR MINT: Close to perfect as possible. Passes for New. On modern machines will likely have background hiss EXCELLENT: Shows light handling, storage and play. Likely has moderate background hiss or crackle. VG+: Any number of moderate scuffs, hairlines, needle tracks, markings, wear, etc. Plays with moderate crackle and tics. Music remains loud and clear. VG: More pronounced and obvious defects, scuffs, scratches, stickers or writing or wear on labels, but the sound is enjoyable and not obscured. GOOD: Labels are recognizable and record plays without skips but is noisy.Clicks, pops, crackle and some moderate distortion likely. POOR: Sound is audible but noise is very obtrusive.
