Vintage Long Play Record
The record in this auction is from a local man's carefully preserved collection of music. It was played on a light tracking Philips 212 turntable and has been exceptionally well cared for over its lifetime. You will find a little paper dust here and there, but scratches/scuffs/marks are virtually nonexistent on this and virtually every other record in his collection.
We are not experts at grading records, but know a well preserved record when we see it. You will be pleased.
We have several dozen records from this collection up for auction this week. We combine shipping and pass the savings on to you. Please be sure to check our other listings!
Good luck bidding!
Our Grading Scale
MintWe don't use this grade because it seems unlikely to occur in nature.NM (Near Mint)Very few imperfections if any. Possibly an unplayed record.VG+ (Very Good Plus)Close to like new with only superficial signs of wear. Only well cared for records will receive this grade.VG (Very Good)A used copy with reasonable wear. There will be obvious signs of wear and possible light surface noise but still a very nice listening experience.VG- (Very Good Minus)Significant wear and marking with noticeable surface noise. A few tracks may have small scratches.G+ (Good Plus)A playable record is about the best thing to say about this grade. Expect some pops and clicks on a few tracks.
