The Motown Story The First Decade box set 5XLP original 1970 Motown MS 5-726 (see photos).

This is the second pressing which did not include the booklet, inner picture sleeves or textured graphics on the cover.   

The vinyl is graded "EX+" condition (see photos).   

The box is in "EX" condition (see photos).

Record grading is visual and based on the following criteria:

“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.

“M” Mint - a near perfect or unplayed  record.

“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.

“EX+” close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.

“EX” a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.

“VG+” There will be obvious signs of wear and a few skuffs and light surface noise, but still quite nice.

"VG" Audible/visible scuffs, scratches and surface noise but plays without skipping. 

"G"/"G+" Considerable surface noise, scuffing, groovewear and scratching.
