 LABEL =   DECCA 10" 5503 MONO [DEEP GROOVE BOTH BLACK LABEL ORIGINAL PRESSING]

 Condition Record =   VG+   some light surface visible.  A nice starter copy   

Condition Cover =    VG+ -  no writing.  seam split top 4".   some damage.   has a lot of age/ring wear.

1940's STUDIO MATERIAL.   FEATURING:  Jay McShann, Walter Brown, Al Hibbler, Gus Johnson, Harold West, CHARLIE PARKER, Gene Ramey, Paul Quinichette, Lawrence Anderson, Bob Mabane.   Tunes:  The jumpin' blues, Hootie blues, Dexter blues, Confessin' the blues, Sepian bounce, Swingmatism, Say forward, I'll march, Get me on your mind.

Grading Scale:

MINT= A genuinely perfect record in both vinyl and cover
M=A nearly perfect record. Will have only one or two visual flaw on vinyl and/or cover
NM=Vinyl has no audible scratches but may have visual flaws. Cover will have only slight ring or edge wear.
VG++ = Vinyl will be in Near Mint Condition. Cover will have ring and/or edge wear.
VG+ = One or two light audible scratches only. Cover will have ring and/or edge wear. Possible writting on Cover and/or label.
VG = Several audible scratches, but not throughout vinyl. Cover will have wear, but no splits or tears. Possible writing on jacket and/or label.
Good = Scratches on vinyl that will effect play, but no skips or repeats. Cover may have significant wear, split, tear or tape.
